UPPER MONTCLAIR, N. J. -- Area children are in for some "superfantabulous" fun as Wimzie House-Live heads to Montclair State University's Memorial Auditorium on Saturday, April 8, at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. for a live production of "Happy Birthday Wimzie."
Based on the successful PBS television series and boasting an original score and a live cast, the show is 60 minutes of heart-pounding fun featuring music, movement and audience participation.
It's 5-year-old Wimzie's birthday but her parents won't be home to help her celebrate because they have to work. Wimzie is very disappointed but not for long because Yaya has planned a BIG "surprise" birthday party for her and all her preschool puppet pals are invited: Horace, Jonas and Loulou.
The show explores important issues faced by preschoolers at home and at child care and is recommended for children 2 to 7 years of age.
Tickets for the Great Events offering are $15. For further information and to order tickets, call the MSU Box Office at (973) 655-5112.
