Scholarships & Costs 2008-2009
Freshman Merit-Based Awards:
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is pleased to present these
merit-based scholarships to freshman applicants who meet the following
criteria. Please note that all GPA requirements are based off of GPA
standardization to a 4.0 scale performed by the Office of Undergraduate
Admissions at the time the application is reviewed. Consideration for
these scholarships is automatic upon applying.
All
scholarships are subject to available funding and receipt of an
official award offer. In addition to the academic criteria listed
below, eligible students must have a completed application with all
necessary material submitted no later than March 1st, 2009.
Level 1 Award: $5,000 a year for 8 Semesters (sequential Fall & Spring terms).
Applicant must have attained a 3.35 GPA and a combined SAT score of 1700.
Level 2 Award: $10,000 a year for 8 Semesters (sequential Fall & Spring terms).
Applicant must have attained a 3.6 GPA and a combined SAT score of 1850.
Level 3 Award: Full Tuition, Fees, Room & Board 8 Semesters (sequential Fall & Spring terms)
Applicant must have attained a 3.85 GPA and a combined SAT score of 2000.
