Annual full-time tuition and fees are approximately $9,800 for New Jersey residents and approximately $17,800 for out-of-state residents for academic year 2009-2010. Room and board charges for the school year average about $10,100 and vary depending on the assigned residence hall, type of residence hall room, and the selected meal plan.

To help pay for your education at Montclair State, a number of financial aid options are available to you, including loans, scholarships, grants, and work-study programs. Applying for financial aid is as simple as completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)— which can be obtained from your high school guidance counselor or online at www.fafsa.ed.gov—by March 1, 2010.
