Stay Connected with Your Student
As the parent of a future Montclair State freshman or transfer student, we know you have a lot of questions.
You’ve come to the right place. Take some time to check out our website. It’s filled with answers to your questions about everything from academic programs to on-campus housing options, from tuition and fees to athletics. Click on the links on this page and you will find information about deadlines, safety and support services, scholarships and more.
We encourage you and your student to visit us and tour our 246-acre campus. You’ll be able to make a connection with students and admissions counselors and see how your child will fit in on campus. You can take a campus tour on just about any weekday during the academic year.
Click here for important consumer information about Montclair State University. The New Jersey College Student and Parent Consumer Information Act requires each New Jersey four-year public college and university to display comprehensive information on the cost of attendance, the graduation rates of admitted students and the faculty of the institution.
Finally, please keep in mind that your child is required by law to be the privileged point of contact for all admissions-related information. You can learn more about Student Privacy Rights by reading about FERPA.
We look forward to seeing you.
