Transfer Students

Thinking of transferring from your current college? With six colleges and schools, nearly 300 majors, minors, concentrations and certificate programs, and a vibrant campus life, Montclair State may be just the school you’re looking for.

Each year we welcome around 1,500 transfer students. If you’ve been enrolled at a regionally accredited college or university after graduating from high school, we invite you to apply.  

If you are already enrolled in the NJ STARS I Program at a New Jersey Community College, you are eligible for admission to Montclair as a NJ STARS II transfer applicant, provided you have met the eligibility requirements required by law. To find out more, please visit www.njstars.net.
