Your student wants to be a Red Hawk, and we know you have many questions.
You’ve come to the right place. Take some time to check out our website. It’s filled with information about everything from academic programs to on-campus housing options, tuition and fees, and athletics. You will find information about deadlines, safety and support services, scholarships and more.
We encourage you to visit us and tour our 250-acre campus. You’ll be able to make a connection with students and admissions counselors and see how your child will fit in on campus. You can take a campus tour on just about any weekday during the academic year and select Saturdays.
The New Jersey College Student and Parent Consumer Information Act requires each New Jersey four-year public college and university to display comprehensive information on the cost of attendance, the graduation rates of admitted students and the faculty of the institution.
Please keep in mind that your child is required by law to be the privileged point of contact for all admissions-related information. You can learn more about Student Privacy Rights by reading about FERPA.
Important announcement: Montclair State University is the first public college in New Jersey to offer a test optional admissions policy. Find out more about our SAT/ACT Optional Policy and how it may affect the admissions process for your students.
The Admissions website gives you access to the information you need to advise your students about Montclair State University. We encourage you to contact us any time you have a question, however, the recruiter covering your school will be delighted to assist you also.
Our RSS feeds and social networks keep you up to date on breaking information or updates. The Apply webpage provides admission entrance requirements and deadlines.
If you’re a two-year college transfer counselor, you will find our transfer admission requirements, information about the transfer process, and new recruiting programs for our prospective transfer population.
To forge an even stronger connection, we invite you to arrange for a group tour for your prospective applicants.
