Majors and Programs
Montclair State combines the academic excellence of a large university with a strong student focus. The University is known for the breadth and depth of its academic programs. With 300 majors, minors, concentrations and certificate programs, you can choose an area of study ranging from animation and illustration to athletic training; from mathematics to music therapy or sports marketing.
Montclair State's academic programs are administered by six colleges and schools:
- The College of the Arts
- The College of Education and Human Services
- The College of Humanities and Social Sciences
- The College of Science and Mathematics
- The School of Business
- The Graduate School
In addition to offering a wide array of master's degree and doctoral programs, The Graduate School works in conjunction with the other five colleges and schools to offer combined bachelor's/master's programs intended to give special support and guidance to students who intend to pursue both degrees.
