Red Hawk Life On Campus
College life is more than a classroom experience. There will be other years of learning – perhaps a master's degree or even beyond – but there will never be another time when you are this age, in this place in your life, with so much growing and maturing ahead.
In our vibrant and exciting residence halls that range from the traditional doubles to apartment-style living for upperclassmen, you can experience educational, cultural, recreational, and social programs to help you grow as a person and make your mark on Red Hawk Country.
Your Montclair Home
Almost 4,500 students live on campus in residence halls that range from traditional doubles to apartment-style living- be a part of it! Living on campus is more than having a bed in which to sleep. It means having access to the entire college experience: academic and social, recreational and cultural.
According to national studies, residential students
- get better grades
- graduate on time
- get more involved in campus activities
- are more satisfied with their undergraduate education
- complete more credit hours
- use campus resources more frequently
- show greater gains in the development of interpersonal skills
You can save commuting time and focus on your studies at the same time as you spread your wings and grow in independence.
Residence halls include traditional doubles, suite-style arrangements, and apartment communities. Blanton Hall will reopen its doors next fall after an extensive renovation with a new food court and a new look for you.
Our Service-Learning program integrates service to the community with academic coursework by giving you educational experiences on how to strategically address local, state and even national community issues.
