
Experience Montclair State University firsthand by taking a campus tour led by one of our student ambassadors. Tours are offered most weekdays and on select Saturdays throughout the academic year. The Red Hawk Deck—across from the Admissions Office in College Hall–will ensure that access to the campus is easy and convenient. Prospective students visiting the campus for an admissions tour will receive complimentary parking. All other visitors can park at the deck for a small fee.
Whether you’re a prospective freshman, transfer, or adult student, you’ll be able to attend an admissions presentation especially for you and discover all that Montclair State University has to offer.
Our Undergraduate Open House programs are large-scale events (usually about 3,000 visitors) with a wide variety of things to do and people to meet.
Faculty representatives are on hand, along with representatives from Financial Aid, Residential Education, Athletics, Greek Life, and many more. This is your opportunity to meet other students interested in Montclair, take a campus tour, or just check out a residence hall. Getting Here Montclair State University is on Valley Road and Normal Avenue in Montclair, New Jersey, one mile south of the junction of Routes 3 and 46.
Please note, when using online or GPS mapping systems, use 22 East Normal Avenue, Montclair (directly across from our main entrance) as your destination. In addition to being conveniently located at the crossroads of several major highways, we have public transportation options right on our campus. There are two New Jersey Transit train station stops on our campus–and bus line stops, too. Visit our Web site for the details.
Arts Days events feature participatory workshops with College of the Arts faculty, performances by Montclair State students, career discussions, audition/interview preparation advice and more.
