Recent Alumni Network (RAN) To Host Speed Networking Event
The newly formed Recent Alumni Network (RAN) works to meet the special needs and interests of graduates of the past ten graduating classes. A planning Committee representing the classes of 2000 – 2010 is leading the charge in developing, planning, promoting, and delivering quality programs designed to engage recent graduates in the Montclair State University community. The Committee focuses on programs reaching the current graduating class as they make the transition to alumni, addressing the special interests / needs of the first years following commencement, as well as providing opportunities in networking, community service, cultural, and reunions activities. The first program planned for the group will take place on Thursday, February 10. Meet, Greet, and Link Up….Speed Network Your Way to a Career Connection features speaker Sharon Kornstein, AICI, CIP, founder and president of ImageDesign, who will offer tips on the basics of networking followed by a useful networking exercise. Additional programs planned include a wine tasting in March, a panel discussion on life skills in April, and a summer gathering in July. Be sure to keep your contact information up to date to make sure you receive invitations to future activities. For more information, contact Deb Corasio in Alumni Relations at 973-655-4207.
