InnerView: Develop Your Personal Brand and Improve Your Interview Success

Join the nearly 100 alumni who registered for the first of several career workshops that will be offered this spring! Learn how to develop personal branding skills, including your brand statement (a combination of your transferable skills and the unique qualities that make you marketable to a specific audience) and 20-30 second value proposition (a concise, well-crafted statement that presents your qualifications in a way that differentiates you from others). Leverage what you learn for better networking and interviewing skills. The evening will feature Kathy Carliner who joins us with more than 25 years experience in public relations, branding, and communications coaching. For additional information, call 973-655-4141.

Ines Rosales ’04, Traffic Reporter on FOX 5, Good Day New York
“You have to give a lot, nothing is given to you,” says Broadcasting alumna Ines Rosales of her career in Broadcasting.
Rosales gave her all at her last job at Metro Traffic, where she was responsible for running cameras for channels 2, 5, 7, 11 and Univision. Hard work paid off: at Metro Traffic, she was encouraged to go on the air. She took the opportunity, and it got her where she is today, as the traffic reporter for Fox News. “It’s a door that was opened for me,” and it changed her life. [View full article]
