Career Advisory Network
Exploring Career Options
Exploring career options understandably raises a lot of questions. What is the best way to break into a particular field? How readily can I apply the skills learned in this job to another occupation? What will my career advancement path be like? The Career Advisory Network can help.
The Career Advisory Network is the online mentoring program, available through MONTCLAIRconnect, where alumni can volunteer to serve as a mentor for fellow alumni and/or current students. Through one-on-one interaction, via email, phone or in-person meetings, alumni share their knowledge, experiences and provide insight regarding careers, industries and organizational cultures.
Use this tool to get an inside look at career options through informational interviewing and networking. This program is not designed for job search, but rather serves as an educational and informational program to enhance career exploration.
