MSU/MAM: Art Talks is a Speakers' Series featuring some of the most prominent professional artists, critics and historians of our time. It is co-sponsored by the Department of Art and Design's MFA in Studio Art Program at Montclair State University and the Montclair Art Museum located in Montclair Township. Past speakers have included notables such as Leo Steinberg, David Hickey, Roberta Smith, Arthur Danto, William Wegman, Chakaia Booker, James Rosenquist, Xu Bing, Kiki Smith. Keith Sonnier, Cathy Opie, Eric Fischl, Janine Antoni, Jeff Koons, Tony Oursler, among others.
Location: Except where noted, all Art Talks take place at the Montclair Art Museum in Leir Hall, located at 3 South Mountan Ave., Montclair, New Jersey.
Admission: Events are open to the general public. Tickets include admission to the current exhibition on the day of the program. The galleries will have extended hours from 5 to 7 p.m for exhibition viewing. Talks generally begin at 7 pm (check schedule below for verification.) Please arrive early.

- $15 for Non-MAM Members
- Free for faculty and students with MSU identification.
