MSU/MAM Art Talks: 22nd Annual Julia Norton Babson Memorial Lecture.
Artists’ Perspectives on Philip Pearlstein Phong Bui, Co-founder and publisher of The Brooklyn Rail will moderate a discussion reflecting realism, Philip Pearlstein’s art, his relationship with peers, and the art world. Invited panelists are contemporary figurative painter Lisa Yuskavage, Dorothea Rockburne noted abstract painter, Brooklyn based novelist Siri Hustvedt, and realist painter and author Rackstraw Downes. The Art Talks series is a collaboration between the Master of Fine Arts degree program of Montclair State University and the Montclair Art Museum.
