Matthew Owens: Graphic Design.
Matt Owens is the principle of Brooklyn based studio Volumeone. Established in 1997, Volumeone brings a multi-disciplinary approach to the creation of visual solutions for print, motion and digital media. Matt also develops personal design narratives in the form of printed materials and short motions pieces several times a year. Currently Matt is a founding member of Athletics, a multidisciplinary design collective based in New York City. With specializations ranging from art direction, motion graphics, commercial, music video and film directing, graphic design, photography, branding, web development, 3D visualization and sound design. Athletics members have come together to leverage their talents and energies for a wide range of clients such as Adidas, Zoo York, New York Magazine and MTV among others. Matt is also a partner in The Riviera, a small gallery in Brooklyn that focuses on up and coming artists, designers and photographers. Matt has spoken internationally and his work has been recognized by the Art Directors Club, American Center for Design, the AIGA and multiple domestic and foreign design publications.
