Communication and Media Day

ARTS DAYS for Prospective Students

 ‌

Date: April 4, 2014

We live in the age of communication and media. But what does it all mean? How have the amazing technological innovations of the past 20 years changed the way we live, tell stories, work, and play? Communication & Media Day introduces college-bound students to Montclair State University's School of Communication & Media. The event features participatory workshops run by faculty and students on advertising, crowdsourcing, gender and race media representations, motivational speaking, acting for filmmakers, developing story ideas for movies, and television and radio production. In addition, participants hear an overview of the School and its programs; learn about exciting communication and media careers; take an optional campus tour; and attend a Speaker event.
