At the conclusion of the interview, audition or portfolio review the Department forwards its recommendations to the Admissions Office , which in turn notifies students of their overall status, normally within three weeks. (Note: In some cases applicants may be placed on a waiting list.) Applicants are encouraged to schedule their appointment as soon as possible.
Note to MSU students already enrolled at MSU: Students wanting to change majors to a theatre or dance program need not re-apply to the university but instead should contact the Department directly to schedule their interview, audition or portfolio appointment.
