Auditorium of Alexander Kasser Theatre
Montclair State University has exceptional performance and teaching facilities available to majors in the Department of Theatre & Dance. The diversity of stage types, technical equipment, and venue sizes affords students exciting performance and design challenges reflecting those they will encounter in their professional lives .
- Alexander Kasser Theater - A 500-seat state-of-the art theatre with proscenium stage
- Memorial Auditorium - A 988- seat theatre with proscenium stage
- L. Howard Fox Theatre - A 100- to 180-seat flexible theatre
- MSU Dance Theatre - A 100-seat theatre / rehearsal studio used exclusively for dance
- Amphitheater - A 2000-seat open-air theatre with adaptable stage
- 2 Ballet Studios - Classroom spaces fully equipped with mirrors, barres, and sprung floors
- Black Box Experimental Theatre Space - Classroom space for rehearsal and developing new work
