Pitched a complete game three hitter with five strikeouts in a hard-luck 1-0 loss to RPI on March 25... Struck out nine in 6 2/3 innings of work to earn the win against New Jersey City on April 6... Fanned a season-high 10 batters in 8 2/3 innings in a win over Ramapo College on April 13... Went seven innings allowing two runs (one earned) and four strikeouts in a no-decision versus Richard Stockton on April 28... Picked up the win going 6 1/3 innings and striking out seven in MSU's 12-6 victory over Ithaca College on May 12. 2006 SEASON: Made a team-leading 20 appearances with 11 game starts... Finished second on the team in saves, wins and tied for team lead in complete games... Finished fourth in the league in innings pitched and second in strikeouts... Named the Most Outstanding Player and All-Tournament Team at the NCAA Division III Boyertown Regional... Went six innings striking out five to earn his first win of the year versus Rowan on April 1... Pitched four innings striking out five versus Ramapo on April 17 to earn the victory... Retired the side in order to record a save versus William Paterson on April 30... Earned a save with two innings of relief versus Rutgers-Newark in the NJAC Tournament on May 6... Pitched four shutout innings, striking out five versus The College of New Jersey in the NJAC Tournament on May 7... Picked up his third save versus Salisbury (MD) on May 11... Pitched a complete game with a MSU NCAA Tournament-best 14 strikeouts as MSU eliminated Frostburg State, 7-2 in the Boyertown Regional on May 19... Returned on one day's rest and went the distance striking out nine and giving up three hits as Montclair won the Regional with a 5-1 win over The College of New Jersey on May 21. 2005 SEASON: Led all MSU pitchers in total strikeouts, and was second in starts and wins … Made college debut with 2.1 innings work at Salisbury (Mar. 6) … Tossed first career strikeout in one inning against Rhode Island College (Mar. 12) … Collected first career victory with nine-strikeout, three-walk performance in six innings against Suffolk (MA), while allowing just two hits and an earned run (Mar. 15) … Had eight strikeouts on a six-inning five-hitter against Eastern Connecticut (Apr. 5) … Had six strikeouts in six innings at Kean (Apr. 15) … Had one walk and one strikeout against Johns Hopkins (Apr. 26) … Earned second victory with six-hitter against Rutgers-Newark, tossing six strikeouts in 6.2 innings (Apr. 28) … Had eight strikeouts in 4. 1innings of NJAC Tournament opener at TCNJ (May 4) … Finished season with three walks and three strikeouts in 6.2 innings vs. Ithaca (May 13). |
