Senior Lauren Zehnder (Emmaus, PA / Southern Lehigh) earned Honorable Mention accolades on the 20-player squad. Tanis is wrapping up the finest career in the history of the Montclair State field hockey program as she becomes the first player to earn First-Team All-NJAC honors each year of her career. The three-time NFHCA All-Region selection has currently scored 10 goals and collected seven assists for 27 points as she ranks second in the team in goals and points, and she is tied for the team lead in assists. Tanis entered the season as the all-time leader in goals and points and added the assist record to her resume as she now has 33 to go along with 77 goals and 137 points. Last year, Tanis set the season marks for goals (23) and points (63) as she was named the NJAC Offensive Player of the Year. Pietrunti, who earns her first All-Conference honor ,leads Montclair State in scoring as she collected her 12th goal of the year on Wednesday during the Red Hawks' 2-0 win over Drew in the opening round of the ECAC Mid-Atlantic Championship.Pietrunti has five game-wnning goals to her credit this season and she is tied for sixth in the NJAC in points (30) and goals and is tied for seventh in assists (6). Zehnder collected her second straight All-Conference honor. The senior has a goal and two assists to her credit in 2007 and is tied for the team lead with four defensive saves, including one in the ECAC victory against Drew.
