MONTCLAIR PLACES THREE ON NJAC ALL-CONFERENCE SQUAD

Montclair, NJ (11/7/08) – Sophomore Devon Johnston (right) was named to the First Team while juniors Karen Martin and Kara Burnham were chosen Second Team and Honorable Mention, respectively as Montclair State put three players on the 2008 NJAC All-Conference Team.

RAMAPO KNOCKS MONTCLAIR STATE FROM NJAC TOURNAMENT, 3-1

Montclair, NJ (11/6/08) – Sophomore Devon Johnston and junior Kara Burnham (right) each had 11 kills however No. 2 seed and defending champion Montclair State was eliminated from the NJAC Volleyball Championship with a 3-1 loss to No. 3 seeded Ramapo College on Thursday evening. The loss ended the Red Hawks season at 16-15.

MSU FINSHES REGULAR SEASON WITH LOSSES TO YORK, MESSIAH

Grantham, PA (11/1/08) – The Montclair State volleyball team closed out its regular-season schedule on Saturday as the Red Hawks dropped a pair of matches at Messiah College. MSU (16-14) fell to York College (PA) in four sets and then suffered a five-set loss to host Messiah. Junior Christine Toskovich (right) had 56 assists and 13 digs for the Red Hawks.
