MSU WOMEN'S BASKETBALL TEAMS UP WITH WBCA "THINK PINK" ON FEBRUARY 9

Montclair, NJ (2/13/08) – On Saturday, February 9, 2008, the Montclair State women's basketball team joined the nationally recognized Breast Cancer Awareness initiative, the Women's Basketball Coaches Association's (WBCA) "Think Pink" as the Red Hawks hosted Rowan University.

The event, which attracted over 400 attendees, helped raise $750.00.  During the event, limited edition “Think Pink” t-shirts were sold for $10.00.  At halftime of the game, a local youth basketball team, Glen Ridge girls’ basketball, was invited to play a scrimmage.

Prior to the “Think Pink” game, MSU women basketball program held their 4^th Annual Alumnae game.  Participants who returned for the game all received an official “Think Pink” t-shirt.
