Learning Competencies Workshops

Learning Competencies Workshops that are offered by the Center introduce Montclair students to effective study strategies and learning techniques. The series of workshops are presented every semester with the focus on time management, learning styles, memory strategies, active reading and well-organized note taking, managing test anxiety and test taking skills. The sequence of the topics is designed to reflect students’ requests and learning needs during the course of the semester.
