Tara Sabharwal born in Delhi, studied painting at MS University in Baroda, India and completed her Masters from Royal College of Art in London. Sabharwal explores themes of lost, remembered and revisited personal narratives. Sabharwal is inspired by multiple realities and the overlapping of time produces paintings and prints that are mostly inspired by natural and architectural imagery. She has had solo shows in London, Germany, New York, Japan, Italy, France, and Portugal. She has taught at the Guggenheim Museum, Cooper Union, City University (CUNY) and the Rubin Museum of Art. Her work is in collections of British Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum, London and Peabody Essex Museum in Boston. Tara lives and works between India, UK and NY.

Art Forum is a weekly program for undergraduate and graduate students, and the public. The program brings in artists, designers, art historians and art critics from around the world to present their work and ideas in an open forum. It is also a course (ARGS 280, 3 SH). Admission is free.
