The George Segal Gallery's latest exhibit, "Jersey Women Artists Now: Contemporary Visions," will be on view from March 6 until April 19, 2014. The exhibition features the work of 18 artists who are either originally from, or currently live and work in, New Jersey. The exhibit is curated by Allison Leigh, professor of Art History, Montclair State University and Dodge–Lawrence Fellow of Zimmerli Art Museum, Rutgers University.
Two educational programs are offered in the month of April to complement the exhibition:
- April 2 from 3-5 p.m.: A panel discussion featuring some of the exhibiting artists, will be moderated by Leigh
- April 10 from 6-7:30 p.m.: Distinguished art historian, Joan Marter will lecture on women artists
