Rocky the Red Hawk is calling all New Freshmen to complete their online orientation requirements by Sunday, August 31.

Learn How to a Be Red Hawk

All new students admitted for the Fall 2014 semester are required to complete Part 2 of the mandatory Montclair State Orientation Experience. Go to www.montclair.edu/online-orientation to complete a 90-minute web-based program designed to provide you with detailed information about policy, how advising works and support services on campus – everything you need to know to become a Red Hawk.

Be a Winner!

All students who finish by August 31 are entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of five $75 Red Hawk Dollar gift cards, which can be used all across campus and even at some local businesses!  Winners will be announced at Red Hawk Day on September 2, 2014.

Here's how you get started:

1. Go to: montclair.edu/online-orientation
2. Create a NEW USER account.  You'll need: your name, Montclair State NetID, and your CWID.  You'll also need to create a password.
3. Make sure to use a compatible browser: Internet Explorer 10 & above, Chrome, Firefox, or Safari.
4. Go to “Welcome” and follow the instructions. 

There will be a brief quiz in several sections, so be sure to pay attention, you’ll need to answer questions correctly before moving to the next section.  Don’t worry, you can always go back and review.  You can stop at any time and resume from where you left off.  Just remember your login information.

At anytime during the process you can select the “i” icon at the bottom of the screen to learn more about a section.  A complete list of these resources will be available at the end of the program.
