Deadline: Health Insurance Waiver
Fall 2014 Health Insurance
The Student Health Insurance Coverage waiver form is now available online.
Health insurance is offered to all full-time undergraduate and graduate students as defined by the University. However, if you already have health insurance coverage either through your parents, spouse or self-employment, you can opt to waive the Health Insurance Fee. If you want to opt out of the school-sponsored health insurance you must complete the Health Insurance Waiver form online by September 26, 2014 at: www.firststudent.com
Students Responsibility to Waiver Coverage
Students who do not want the school-sponsored health insurance coverage, because they have alternative coverage, and who fail to complete an online waiver by September 26, 2014 will automatically be enrolled in the school-sponsored plan and will be responsible for the annual premium. Students Should Check WESS Account Regularly
After the initial billing, it is the responsibility of the students to check their accounts regularly. Student account summaries are available online at wfs.montclair.edu (WESS). All unpaid balances will be assessed a late fee.
