Final Add/Drop Day for Spring Semester - 50% Adjustment

Starting the new semester strong is always the goal. But some times we need to make an adjustment. Here is a reminder of the deadlines for adding and dropping a course, for spring 2015:

Monday, January 26
Last day you can add a new course to your spring 2015 schedule.

Last day you can drop a course (with no record of the course on your transcript) and receive a 100% adjustment (if the course doesn’t meet only on a Monday).

Tuesday, January 27
Last day you can drop a course (with no record of the course on your transcript), that only meets on Mondays, for a 100% adjustment.

Monday, February 23
Last day you can drop a course (with a “WD” on your transcript) and receive a 50% adjustment.

Tuesday, March 31
Last day you can drop a course (with a “WD” on your transcript) and receive no adjustment.

After March 31 you must pursue post-deadline withdrawal from the Dean of Students office.

Half-Term Courses

Financial Aid
If you are receiving financial aid you should always check with the Financial Aid Office first before dropping or withdrawing from classes to make sure that your aid will not be negatively impacted.

Registration Holds
Registration holds will prevent you from making changes to your schedule. Check you WESS account and visit your academic advisor if you need to make changes.

Freshmen
Freshmen are advised to visit the Center for Advising and Student Transitions at Webster Hall for assistance.
