First-Year Students - There is a registration hold on your account until you meet with your advisor.

  • If declared, you are required to meet with your departmental faculty advisor.
  • If part of a special admit program (VET, Adult Learning, Athletics), meet with your assigned program advisor.
  • If undeclared, thinking about changing your major or need extra help, you are required to meet with your Center for Advising and Student Transitions (CAST) academic advisor.

Sophomores

  • If declared major, meet with your department faculty advisor before registration begins.
  • If undeclared, thinking about a change of major or just need extra help, reach out your Center for Advising and Student Transitions (CAST) advisor.

Juniors and Seniors - It is vital that you meet with your academic advisor before registration to ensure you stay on track towards graduation.

  • If declared major and feel you are “on track”, we strongly recommend you meet with your department faculty advisor before registration.
  • If you feel “off track” and need support and/or considering a change of major, contact the Office of Academic Success & Retention Programs (ASRP) for advising support.

Special Program such as VET, Adult Learning (CAL), EOF or HCP:

  • Meet with your assigned program advisor and, if applicable, your faculty or department advisor.

Check Your WESS Account.
