MSU/CSAM alumnus Dr. Yuri Jadotte will join us by Skype to share what we can do while at MSU to increase opportunities for successful entry into post-undergraduate medical and health related programs. He will also share with us what he has learned through his own career path in the medical field post-MSU. 

Yuri Jadotte Biography 

Yuri Jadotte is a dedicated physician and translational/social scientist with a commitment to improving healthcare and health outcomes for urban, socioeconomically disadvantaged populations. Yuri graduated with a 4.0 GPA from Montclair State University with a major in Molecular Biology, and with honors from the New Jersey Medical School at Rutgers University. He is currently a PhD candidate in the Joint Urban Systems program at the New Jersey Institute of Technology and Rutgers University-Newark, and works as a faculty member at the Rutgers School of Public Health and Rutgers School of Nursing, where he teaches evidence-based practice, systematic review and meta-analysis, statistics and economic evaluation methods. His clinical passion is Preventive Medicine, with a focus on skin health and wellness, interprofessional and interdisciplinary practice, and the prevention of multiple chronic conditions. His research interests include evidence-based medicine, systematic review/meta-analysis, comparative effectiveness/patient-centered outcomes research, and healthcare/health disparities.
