Lauren Carr joins the Department of Art and Design as an Assistant Professor in the Animation/Illustration program. She has worked professionally for Disney Feature Animation, Cinesite, Sony Pictures Imageworks, and Dreamworks Animation.

Rob Letterman is a graduate of USC and has been a director for some years now. His most popular films are ones you’ve likely seen with your friends, family, or with your children and include Shark Tale, Monsters vs. Aliens (Nominated at Annecy International Animated Film Festival for Best Feature), and Gulliver’s Travels (also starring Jack Black).

Kaia Rose was the lead producer for the BAFTA-winning animation studio ArthurCox in England for four years, producing and line producing a variety of projects for such companies such as Disney Jr, Aardman Animations, BBC, and 20th Century Fox TV.

This film-screening series, sponsored by the Film Institute at Montclair State, is a weekly program for MSU students and the public. The program features contemporary filmmakers who come to speak about their work and profession in an open forum that invites audience members to ask questions and hear personalized inside stories. Admission is free.
