In many cases, a responsible party must address contamination and ecological concerns when working in environmentally sensitive areas such as wetlands, coastal zones, stream banks, or flood plains. This half-day workshop focuses on what you need to know when remediating sites on or near these sensitive areas and what the land use implications will be when redeveloping properties. Experts and leaders in their field will share their insights and experience with you!

Topics To Be Discussed:

Beneficial Reuse of Dredge Materials & Land Use Permitting at Contaminated Sites- Hear the benefits of using dredge materials when capping sites as well as associated land use permitting concerns.

Pending Legislations & Court Cases Involving Sensitive Land Use Issues- Learn about pending legislation impacting environmentally sensitive areas as well as on going court cases.
