The Cali School guitar faculty - Darren O'Neill, Sylwia Kloc, David Graessle, and Jim Smith - will perform an eclectic program of modern duos and quartets featuring blues (Claude Engel), jazz (Joe Pass), ragtime (Scott Joplin), tango (Jean-Marie Raymond), and samba (Celso Machado).  The program will also feature Baroque guitar duets (Nathaniel Diesel) as well as 19th century guitar duets (Ferdinando Carulli).  In short - something for everyone.  This will be the inaugural concert of the newly christened Metropolitan Guitar Quartet.

The Cali School of Music Wednesday at One series presents weekly concerts or lectures by students, faculty, guest artists and scholars. The student performances are part of requirements for instrumental and vocal Performance Practicum classes. Members of the MSU community and the public are welcome. Admission is free.
