Interested in how you might incorporate digital assignments into your classes? Are you thinking about how you might branch out from traditional, essay-based assignments to capture your students' interest? Are you a teacher-in-training who is curious about how you will develop your students' digital literacy? Please join the First Year Writing program in welcoming to campus our guest speaker, Miami University's Jason Palmeri, on Friday, October 2 at 10:00 in University Hall 1120. This workshop will be a hands-on discussion of why we should incorporate digital and/or multimodal assignments; how we might adapt our current assignments; and how we would assess such student work.
