Patricia Matthew is the upcoming speaker for The English Department's Faculty Research Colloquium. The lecture is titled: "Reading Percy through Mary: Intersectional Politics in Prometheus Unbound and Valperga."

Patricia Matthew is Associate Professor of English and this presentation will be part of a lecture she delivers for the University of Pennsylvania’s Unbinding Prometheus project.

The English Department's Faculty Research Colloquium is dedicated to the presentation and discussion of new research by the department's faculty, across all fields. The Colloquium has a particular emphasis on work in its early stages, and on work that pushes the boundaries of its field. We meet twice each semester. All are welcome.
