As part of Body Acceptance Week, the Mirror Project was created in 2008 by the Office of Health Promotion. The Mirror Project is an art exhibit, which challenges people to think about how they perceive themselves. Students, faculty, and staff at the University were asked the question "What do you see when you look in the mirror?” Responses were funny, sad, shocking, and everything in between. Using diverse mediums, these statements were put onto mirrors. When viewing this exhibit, we hope that participants look deep inside themselves and truly reflect on their feelings towards their bodies, as well as look beyond their reflection in the mirror.
