This year's Black Heritage Month theme is "Celebrating Champions of Challenge & Change". On Monday, February 15 at noon in Student Center Ballroom A, we will honor ordinary people who have created extraordinary & positive change in our communities.

Our keynote speaker will be Former Assemblyman William Payne, author of New Jersey's Amistad legislation. We will honor Rev. Sharonda Coleman-Singleton, a member of the Montclair State University community, who was among the slain Charleston 9.
