Enjoy delicious hors d'oeuvres before the show while you mingle with Noah Befeler (Max Bialystock) and Annie Hunt (Ulla), who will talk about their experience in the show with dramaturg Rebecca Campbell.  This is a free event; no ticket is required.

Sneak Peeks is a yearlong series of informal pre-show chats, offering insight and a behind-the-scenes peek into some of our most exciting visiting artists and productions. Join us select Thursday nights throughout the 15/16 season!


Noah Befeler (Max Bialystock) is a junior BFA Acting major making his MSU musical debut. Favorite MSU credits include Russ/Dan in Clybourne Park, Tartuffe in Tartuffe, Fluellen in Henry V, and General Yepanchin in The Idiot. Befeler is currently in his second year as an actor, writer, and designer with MSU’s acclaimed late-night improv and sketch comedy show, The Dirty 9. He has also trained at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theatre in New York.

Annie Hunt (Ulla) most recently appeared in the ensemble of last semester’s The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, which was her first show at MSU. Other credits include Lady M in Macbeth, Princess Fiona in Shrek the Musical, Cinderella in Into the Woods, and Christine Daaé in Maury Yeston and Arthur Kopit’s Phantom.

Rebecca Campbell (Dramaturg) is a Graduate student in the MA Theatre Studies program at MSU. She is a recent graduate from Dean College in Massachusetts, her native state, where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Theatre with a concentration in Musical Theatre and a minor in Dance. Rebecca’s list of experience includes working on shows as a Performer, Director, Stage Manager, Choreographer and now as a Dramaturg.
