• hands-on demonstrations such as DNA extraction and analysis, electron microscopy, critters from the deep, chemistry and light, mapping geographical data, tiny robots and smart phone apps, sustainability and reality, and body shape simulations
• Tours of new state-of-the-art research laboratories
• Interaction with student and faculty researchers in small groups and panels
• Advice for preparing for undergraduate studies in science and mathematics
