No need to worry about your fear of heights! You can sit comfortably in your theater seat as the MSU Wind Symphony lifts off to provide you a bird’s eye view of the world as seen through the eyes of some of the world’s most gifted wind composers. “High” lights include Gunther Schuller’s explosive On Winged Flight, the East Coast premiere of Welsh composer Tom Davoren’s Stillness…after Amelia Earhart, Olivier Messiaen’s Exotic Birds featuring MSU Piano Professor Steven Ryan, and composer Michael Colgrass’s programmatic Winds of Nagual.
