The Institute for the Humanities presents: "Teaching with Objects." Education research has shown that Object-Based Teaching not only extends the depth of comprehension of a lesson but also length of lesson recall. Recent work using Object-Based Teaching methods has proven especially successful in STEM fields and is particularly effective within increasingly digital education environments. This workshop will introduce Object-Based Teaching and illustrate explicit methods which can be used in a broad range of pedagogical contexts.
