How to be an Ally in Every Corner of Your Life: Affirming Acts Everyone Can Do!

“Affirmative Acts: Allies in Every Corner”

We are fortunate to be at Montclair State University, a place for all. As we manage social, political, and cultural change, as well as a fair amount of anxiety, we encourage the University Community to celebrate our support and affirmation of all members. To be an ally means to stand with others, to act in ways that validate, edify, and support all others.

About The Program

Our celebration of Affirmative Action Day will begin with a proclamation read by President Susan A. Cole.

Following, panelists will illustrate ways in which allies surface at Montclair State University, in small ways and large. Towards those ends, we will identify many instances of support and solidarity on campus, engage audience questions, and facilitate small and large group discussions. All are welcome!
