Montclair State University’s School of Communication and Media (SCM) will honor WABC-TV news anchor Bill Ritter with the Allen B. Du Mont Broadcaster of the Year Award at a special Colloquium. Register here.
Bill Ritter’s career spans more than 40 years. He’s the anchor of the 6 and 11pm newscasts on the most-watched local television station in the nation. He has worked as a correspondent for the ABC News Magazine 20/20 and co-host of Good Morning America Sunday, as well as a reporter at television stations in Los Angeles and San Diego. He started his career as a print reporter and editor for the San Diego County edition of The Los Angeles Times and The San Diego Business Journal.
