Erik Jacobson (Montclair State University) leads a discussion of Ghost in the Shell to understand the futuristic world inhabited by the characters and its implicit message for our contemporary society. The film, itself, is about a female cyborg agent who along with the Internal Bureau of Investigations is investigating "The Puppet Master", a mysterious and threatening computer virus capable of infiltrating human hosts.
