Leaders of the World 2017: Plight of the Immigrants - Past and Present

Executive orders and potential reform are changing the world for immigrants in America like never before. On October 25 at 7:30 p.m., Montclair State University will host world renowned lecturer Gregorio Luke for a presentation entitled "Plight of the Immigrants - Past and Present," which will discuss the legacy and future of immigrants in American society. The former First Secretary of the Embassy of Mexico in Washington, D.C., Luke has given over 1,000 lectures in museums and universities throughout Mexico, Europe and the United States on immigration, and Mexican and Latin American culture. 
The event is part of the two-day conference "Leaders of the World 2017: Ethics, Education & the Environment" at Montclair State, which features prominent dignitaries from 10 different nations including former President of Ecuador the Honorable Dr. Rosalia Arteaga and Ambassador of Costa Rica to the United States Juan Carlos Mendoza Garcia.
