Senior Class Gift Campaign Celebrates the Beginning of a New Tradition

An important part of The Campaign for the Second Century is building a culture of giving among alumni of Montclair State University. The Class of 2006 got anearly start on staying close to their new alma mater. They participated in a Senior Class Gift Campaign with the theme “The Beginning of a New Tradition.”

Members of the Class of 2006 and their parents raised more than $4,000 from 126 donors The money will be used for the creation of a student lounge and game room in the Student Center. This was the first Senior Class Gift given by individuals in a Montclair State University graduating class intended for a specific purpose. The Senior Class Gift Campaign for the Class of 2007 is already under way, and a committee is now forming.
