Annual Career Events

There are certain important events that we hold around the same time each year. Please see our Upcoming Workshops for dates and locations.

Part Time Job Fair: Held every September in the Student Center Ballrooms, this event gathers on-campus and off-campus employers looking to hire student workers. Many on-campus departments attend to fill Federal Work Study and Student Assistant position. Local businesses (restaurants, stores, offices, etc.) with open positions also attend. This is the best opportunity for students to find on-campus work! Bring your resumes.

Resumania!: Resumania, or other similar career fair prep events are held twice a year prior to our Fall and Spring Career Fairs. Employers and Career Counselors revise student resumes and present other workshops vital to career-success.

  • Fall - Held in October
  • Spring - Held in February or March

Career and Internship Fairs - Needs no introduction! Our annual Fall and Spring Career Fairs are open to all majors and to the public. Employers hiring for all industries and experience levels attend.

  • Fall - Held in late October, early November
  • Spring - Held in March

The Awards Ceremony: The Center for Career Services and Cooperative Education Awards Ceremony is held each year in late April or early May. At this event, we honor the recipients of our Outstanding Student Employee Awards, Outstanding Cooperative Education Student Awards, Outstanding Employer Awards and Outstanding Partner Award. The event is an opportunity to recognize the hard work and dedication of student employees, cooperative education students and employer partners.
