Q: Do you have job listings?   

A: We are currently in the process of transitioning from Career Directions to another system.  During the transition, we will be posting all approved positions (full-time, part-time, and paid internships) on our website for our students and alumni to view.  View jobs.

Q: Where else can I find job listings?

A: Our Online Resourcessection offers information on job search strategies and additional job listing sites.

Q: How do I find on-campus employment?

A: Attend our Part-Time Job Fair, held every September. Check out On-Campus Job Postings and our Facebook PageStudent Assistant and Federal Work Study positions are listed on those sites.

Q: Can you critique my resume? 

A: If you are a declared major, we recommend reaching out to the Director of Career Services in your school/college to inquire about resume critique services.

Undeclared students and alumni can reach out to the Director of Career Development in the Center for Career Services for help.

Q: I need career counseling but am neither a Montclair State University student nor an alumna/us.

A: Aside from our major career events, the majority of our career services are only provided to current students and alumni. Visit the website of the National Career Development Association to identify certified counselors. (You will enter the state name to see all counselors in that state.) You can also check our community organizations that offer free or low cost counseling.
