How do I find an off-campus job?

We encourage all employers to post their positions with College Central, our on-line system. Therefore, students also need to register with the same system in order to access all the jobs that are listed (internships, summer work, full and part time).

College Central Network, the primary web based job board for Montclair State University students and alums, is sponsored by the MSU Alumni Association, to help our students and grads to

•Current Montclair State University student: your ID is your Montclair State University e-mail user id (lastnamefirstinitial1 as in "browng1" for garry brown)and password. Do not share your password and ID with students from other schools as employers will be listing positions exclusively for MSU students. (Note: Once you graduate you will keep the same ID and password to access services from College Central.)

• Montclair State University Alums: please call the Alumni office at 973.655.4141 to get your User ID. You will create your own password.

(FYI: Neither Career Development nor the Alumni Association will have access to your password. Please keep your own record of this information.)

In partnership with Career Development, MonsterTRAK provides full-time jobs targeted for Montclair State University students and alumni.

If you are an MSU student or alum, you will be instructed to register with MonsterTRAK once. Create a personal user ID and personal password for yourself. (Career Development will not know your ID so please write it down.)

If you are on campus you will not need a "college password."

If you are off campus, our password is "career2000." Do not use the quote marks. Once again, please do not share passwords with non-MSU students.
