  • Researching Companies on line- An easy way to check out public and private firms.
  • Riley Guide: Business Directories & Corporate Profiles This site is arguably the most thorough employment/job resource on the net. Not to be missed.
  • FORTUNE.com: Companies Check out the companies which made FORTUNE's following lists: 100 Best Companies to Work For in America, Fortune 500, Global 500, and Most Admired Top Employers.
  • VAULT, the Career Insider network (Use the Virtual Career Center menu on the Center's first page to reach MSU's licensed version of Vault which has info available to you at no cost) Over 3000 company profiles are available. A search by location and industry is just one set of options. Sign-up for newsletters and find resources specifically for students.
  • Yahoo! Finance Company and Fund Index Information on over 9,000 public companies is available, including contact information, business summaries, officer and employee information, sector and industry classifications, etc.

  • America's Job Bank -In addition to lob listings from 1800 state employment services, this site offers occupational information, job search aids, relocation info and more.
  • The Black Collegian - similar to the magazine of the same name, this site also has local job listings. Worth a click.
  • Career.com - Search national and international jobs by company, discipline, location and keywords. You are able to post your resume and find career related resources.
  • Career Magazine - Information on job openings, resume banks, employer profiles and more. Provides a searchable database.
  • Careerbuilder - Provides job listings, resume postings and lets you search by industry.
  • Job Hunt - LOADS of job search resources (including current listings) and services by category, resume banks, reference materials, recruiting agencies and more.
  • Job Postings - the web version of Job Postings Magazine, with listings specifically for students.
